I'll be in NYC this weekend and want to meet a friend on Friday night...to maximize my time based on her schedule I'd like to see a show first, but everything I look at is 2.5-3 hours. Any suggestions for under 2 hours...maybe closer to 90 minutes? Or that starts at 7 or 7:30? Can be a play, musical, on/off Broadway...just feeling a bit stumped. Thanks!

The Robber Bridegroom starts at 7:30 and is only 90 minutes.

The Humans is a tight 90 mins-- but don't expect to walk out feeling light as a feather.

The Humans. And TFMH18 is correct but it is a must see in my opinion. There is also "The Woodsman" off-Broadway that runs 70 minutes. Also a good show.

Look into The Woodsman. It's 70 minutes and no intermission. Excellent show.

If you loved Fun Home, The Humans is the best choice. You'll need a drink or two after, however.

The Woodsman (gorgeous!) or The Robber Bridegroom.
Blackbird and The Humans, both outstanding, will not leave you feeling particularly chatty with your friend.

Blackbird is probably the shortest. about 80 mins. also gets A LOT of action packed into it. excellent show, especially if you do a 7PM one youll be out by 8:30. Totally worth it, in my opinion.

Woodsman is shorter.
