We are in search of songs, preferably upbeat and pre-1960, that fit the 'vixen' type character. i.e. "Whatever Lola Wants". Any other ideas out there? Needed for college auditions/musical theatre major.

When I saw "vixen songs", my first thought was "Lost And Found" from City of Angels. But as long as you're looking for something pre- 1960, does "Lazy Afternoon" count as a vixen song?

[title of show] on Broadway. it's time. believe.

What about Sooner or Later from Dick Tracy? Not necessarily a musical theatre song, but it's by Sondheim and it's in Putting it Together, so there you go.
