lottery employees

anybody know how they get their jobs, and do they work in the theatre during the show?
i went to all the lotteries on b-way and rent was the only lottery i have won.
they were very nice and one of them was very cute, anybody know his name lol j/k

I doubt all they do is go out once or twice a day to run lotteries.

No, not true. 9 times out of 10, it is someone who works for the General Manager's Office.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're right thesbijean. I know the same woman usually does both the Hairspray and the Spelling Bee lotteries.

I know the person that does that Avenue Q lottery answers the fan mail.

Shouldn't the actors be answering their own fan mail? They cn't be receiving THAT much fan mail!

I believe the Rent lotto guys work in the house (I think Sonny was a house manager, he used to wear a name tag and stuff). Some of them really DO just show up for lotto though, or do work backstage. Ask them, I'm sure they'd tell you.
