The thing about Michelle is that she keeps the role fresh. I saw Wicked again last Saturday and Michelle changed some vocal inflections and the intonation on some lines. It was really cool to see that after over two years she hasn't just plateaued.
Who really cares if she's a snob? as a performer she is amazing and that's really all that matters. Well for me atleast.
Michelle is awsome! She's a great person! She was so nice when I got her autograph at stage door.

Why is everyone saying Michelle is a snob, has she actually been rude to her fans?
I'm actually shocked that so many people are still fans. When the show started, I thought that Michelle was fantastic. After seeing her several times this year, though, the role has fallen flat. It's almost as if she doesn't care anymore.
The thing is, she can go onto different things. New experiences. Don't even say that Wicked is the best experience, because at this point, she can do better.
SallyBrown, I couldn't agree with you more.
my friend told me that Idina was rude to her fans. But how do I know? I've never met her.

I dont think Idina would be rude to her fans, she seems very nice.
Michelle had her moments way back in the beginning of the year. She was like not open to the "omg michelle" thing hahah. But i've seen her recently and heard she is actaully really nice and signs and takes pictures and so on.

Michelle goes, does her job, and doesnt really like the whole public thing. Some people don't understand it, but then you cant blame them for expecting something most others give them. I dont even thinks she cares what people think of her, shes not like that. She is such a normal person and has her own humor that most others dont get and she just doesnt bother putting on a new persona every time she steps out the stagedoor. She is who she is when you see her and doesnt care what you think or not. It doesnt make her a bad person though

Wickedstar, I'm sorry, but I really don't believe that even for a second. I cannot fathom why Michelle would do that, because she has been so sweet to me over the last couple years. She was wonderful at the stage door, and wonderful through letters. Maybe you just missunderstood her, or maybe she didn't even hear you the first time, but I have a really hard time believing that she would be blatantly rude.
Michelle has openly said she's pretty uncomfortable when it comes to a lot of people. She's been nothing but sweet and completely honest with me, and she's been so real compared to the dozens of others I've met from Wicked. I'm glad this is her broadway debut, because it just opens doors for her all over the place.
Just something for those of you who have had a bad experience with her -- she's talked with me about how she knows that when she walks out of that stagedoor, those people aren't there to see her. She knows they're going to see Idina, Shoshana -- whoever. But not her. And so keep that in mind, okay?

That so sad that Michelle thinks people aren't there to see her, because i am such a fan of Michelle. I am going to see Wicked in NYC and I don't care if i see Sho or Megan, the person i really want to see is Michelle. I had i dream last night that i met her. Weird huh, i think this board triggered it.
I also love Michelle Federer! I think she has such a great voice! Its so pure and just so good. She doesn't get recognized enough! She needs a bigger part of bway! I personally think that she would make a great belle!!!
Michelle is leaving, as is Shoshana on January 8, 2006. It is one year frm Sho's start, the 9th and it's the closest date, as is David Ayers.

When i go to see Wicked in NYC should i try to talk to Michelle. She is one of my favorite actresses, but i don't want her to be snobby like she was to other people on this board. If i told her she was my favorite actress from wicked, i doubt she'd believe it.
Wickedstar, I'm sorry, bu tI'm with blair on that one. I find that incredibly hard to believe. She may have seemed rude, but she's really not. And I can't imagine her saying "No way" like that. She seems pretty shy though. I've heard a lot of people say she was nasty to them, but when I met her she was very nice. Maybe it was because it wasn't at the Wicked stagedoor? I don't know.
And Elphaba3- She might believe you, you never know. She'd probably appreciate it.
here's a new messageboard for her that was made(not by me).

WOW! I'm REALLY surprised at how many people think she's a snob! That's just insane! I met her about a month ago when she was at the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Stage Door. She walked out with Norbert and after I talk to him for a bit and realized it was actually her. And I went over and said "Did you used to star in Wicked?" and she said "Yes" and we talked for a litle bit until she left with Norbert. I thought it was sweet that she talk to me when I'm just some random girl off the street.
