more small town girl questions...busses?!

egads.
here in halifax i could tell you anything you wanted to know about the bus schedual.
then again, i live in HALIFAX.
so anyway.
please help me?

we're staying at a hotel on w25...what bus should we take to get to time square? its about 20 blocks away...how long of a walk is that?

I doubt you'll want to walk.

Take the subway, it's fastest.

why wouldn't you walk? last time/the first time i was in NYC we walked a lot. but then again we were on w36th...a smidge closer!

if you are staying on 25th hop on the 1 or the NW at 23rd street and take it to 42nd otherwise you are like you said about 20 blocks south not too bad if it's not cold

other than that you can take any buson 6th or 8th avenue. these go north and will take you to the outside avenues of times square

the subways aren't hard you just need to read the map or ask a friendly face on the train
