The only time I can think of when the doors were fully changed was when Jekyll & HYDE turned to celebrity casting. I know they changed the pictures of Cuccioli/Eder on the doors to Jack Wagner, then again with Sebestian Bach & Coleen Sexton (they also changed the Times Square billboard) and of course, David Hasselhoff. But those weren't Broadway stars, but rather I guess people more in the general public would recognize. I don't think by putting Marin Mazzie's picture on the door that would change anything whether to see it or not...

I doubt they'd change the doors even if it did run for awhile after the cast change - not because of the expense of having to change out the photos (they've done that a few times already; I believe that they started with just the photos, then they had some with reviews at one point, then went back to just the photos, then went to character descriptions on them), but because of the hassle of getting a new set of that style of photos taken. I do think, however, that they'll replace the smaller production photos.

adamgreer - Do you know if they're having new face pictures taken by Evan Kafka for the new cast, or whether they'll restyle the doors and maybe put production shots there?
