new A Chorus Line non equity tour question
#1new A Chorus Line non equity tour question
Posted: 8/23/12 at 9:07amI saw that there was a tour of A Chorus Line that is starting soon. Making stops, I believe in The Bronx, as well as the Tilles Center on Long Island. I was just wondering if anyone knew who was producing it this time around. I know it's not NETworks since they did the last non equity tour. But, does anyone know?

I heard that as well.
To be honest, I was talking to a young woman who I paired up with at a lottery a couple of weeks back. She had said that she had an audition for it that she just came from. I was wondering who was producing it then, just like I am now and should have asked her. Oh well, them's the breaks.

Posted: 9/1/12 at 12:54amSome weird dates... Abbotsford? I've never heard of ANY tour going there (Abbotsford is kinda, for those who don't know, a very distant suburb of Vancouver). Still, if people reportthat it's decent, I'm tempted to go.

Posted: 9/1/12 at 1:10amAre non equity tours expected to not be as good as equity? What's the difference in the quality of the auditions and performances?

Posted: 9/1/12 at 1:21amThey tend to be cheaper (in all regards including tickets), and to, obviously, use less seasoned pros. But they're not always bad--sometimes they can come off fresher than some of the long running tours (at least that's in my limited experience between the two).
