Posted: 5/9/12 at 5:23pmit raved over LJONES and that closed in a matter of minutes, raved for BLoody Bloody and that died a quick death as well. raves for Peter and that is barely holding on. Does it have the power anymore to make or break a show as it once did? (ie: wicked a famous review)

No...those days are gone. Now we have access to all news sources (and reviews) as well as popular opinion.
I think SOMETIMES it can help or be the nail in the coffin -- but have a turn aroundd one way or another? Nope.
(and this has come up in recent months, I'm sure there are other threads on it.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
