ok heres the deal#0
Posted: 11/4/03 at 7:37pmim going to ny, seeing the wicked matinee on nov 28, and want to see cabaret for the evening, cause hello adam pascal. anyway ive found 46.25 tickets online but they're the last row. I would like better seats but keep it at a low price. should i do student rush? should i wait on the half price ticket line? or is that too risky? help!

Posted: 11/4/03 at 7:46pmIf you do student rush, make sure you get in line as early as possible. When I went to New York I got student rush for every show I went to, Millie, 42nd street, urine town, metamorphasis. I was too late for chicago, and caberet, so GO EARLY!
re: re: ok heres the deal#2
Posted: 11/4/03 at 7:52pmalong these lines, do you think adam pascal will play this performance? he should shouldn't he? he won't be gone by then, and it's a holiday so there probably wont be an understudy...right?
re: re: re: ok heres the deal#3
Posted: 11/4/03 at 8:11pmI don't see why Adam wouldn't be there he just joined the cast so I don't think he would leave so soon. So unless it is a schedule abscence he should be in the show that night.

PennyLou,
What in Heaven's name is a "secluded absence"? The mere thought of it boggles my mind.

Thanksgiving is one of 'those' weekends where even the crummy shows do very well. Poke around a bit for other seats, but make your move soon.
Presumably you are out of school. Think of the literally hundreds of thousands of people who are out of school that weekend and/or are not working.
On the other hand the three weeks between Thanksgiving weekend and Christamas week are some of the least attended the whole year. The week leading up to Christmas in particular--Dec 22 and 23--will be the proverbial wasteland.
