It depends.
Most Opening Night performances are strictly 'invitation only', but sometimes tickets show up for sale to the general public days prior or the day of the performance. They're not in the orchestra level, but at least you'll be attending the celebrity laden Opening Night performance.
Its a show-by-show scenario.
If tickets aren't on sale yet for a show you're looking for, then start checking a few days before the performance. Daily.
Good luck!
PS: before you start asking about an Opening Night Performance 'dress code' -- there isn't one, but use common sense and dress up. Some 'stars' show up in jeans, sandals, etc., which goes to show you how Opening Nights are treated these days.
