me and my friend are gonna record an album of duets and songs from shows, only i dont know what to put in it. So far i ahve come up with this list;
Can you feel the love tonight
a little fall of rain
A whole new world
I'll cover you
In his eyes
Me and my girl
On my own (ME)
Javets suicide (HIM)
All i care about is love (HIM)
Fairy tale in new york (not from a show i know, but we're putting it in anyway)
Master of the house
I knwo him so well (we've changed the words to make it male and female duet)
any more ideas, male female obvously
Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up"
Now, now, Matt. Play nice.
In his eyes is a F-F duet.
"Take me as I am" and "Dangerous Game" would be great.

"I'd Give It All For You" from SONGS FROM A NEW WORLD
"Elephant Love Medley" from MOULIN ROUGE
"Nice" from LUCKY STIFF
"Written in the Stars" or "Elaborate Lives" from AIDA
"Our Time" from MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG
Oooh, yeah..."Take Me As I Am" from JEKYLL & HYDE is a good one.
I like the idea of a man and woman singing "In His Eyes." As long as your friend doesn't mind singing about another man...

o yeah i know it is, gonna change that too, we changed 'i know him so well' and the show we performed it at wnt really realyl well, loads of people loved it, so we thought we might do it again.
Look at Miss Saigon, "Inside Your Heart" from BATBOY, and "In Whatever Time We Have" from CHILDREN OF EDEN
If you are changing anything make sure to ask for permission from whoever gives the rights, because if you don't and get caught you could owe a LOT of money

well yeah sure! thanks alot for all these suggestions!
as long as you don't charge people to listen to it, you should be fine...
Cats- I know MTI still charges for free performances.
It is the songwriters work that you are using...at least show them some respect by giving them what they deserve.
hey you could put "as long as your mine" from WICKED,and if youget a couple more people you can do "dancing through life" from WICKEd also

"Wheels of a Dream" from RAGTIME
"A Man Doesn't Know" or "Two Lost Souls" from DAMN YANKEES
"You Walk With Me" from THE FULL MONTY could be pretty as a M-F duet.
