Idina Menzel and Shoshana Bean sing the crap out of that part and it just seems better to have their kind of voices rather than more legit musical theatre voices. What does everyone else think?

Posted: 1/8/07 at 4:43pmI don't think a pop voice is right for Elphaba. At all. I think they're going for more of the Harvey Fierstein sound. In fact, I think he's playing Elphaba...they'll have to build a sturdier cherry picker though.
