Posted: 6/9/12 at 11:30pmAs I am prepping for my trip to the city, someone told me that even though premiums are overpriced, sometimes it is worth it and a great expereince. Has anyone ever gone premium? Thoughts?

I've only gone premium for the HUGE shows like Wicked and such, just because it was practically that or the back (or not even see it at all as they are sold out of regular tickets). Premium seats are great, but from my own personal experience (especially in smaller theaters), you can have just as amazing an experience from virtually anywhere. The first seats off the center isles on the left and right orchestra sections are some of my favorite seating locations (which are regular priced seats for many shows).

Posted: 6/9/12 at 11:38pmGet them if you can afford them and they're the only option to sit close. Check the theater's website seating plan. Sometimes you can sit a row away, even one seat away from "premium" for a lot less.
