Has anyone ever heard of this play? My college is doing it and I was cast as Mary Windrod. Any insight into the play or charecter would be great. Thanks!

I was just in this and played Josh. Its a very interesting play. Read it over a few times...its tough. Mary is a great character...shes old and completely out of her mind. She always seems to be a little bit behind everything else...a bit creepy as well...shes one of the few innocents in the story. Any questions just let me know. Just wait til you get to the Oats scene...haha the innuendo is great!

Haha yeah, it was fun.

I'm not sure what you mean on "how to portray her". Want to PM me?

"The Rimers of ELDRITCH" is a very good piece of theatre with a plot that unfolds in a nonlinear fashion. I've directed this work twice and had a great time doing so on both occasions. 'Mary Windrod' is a great character role and there is a lot that can be done with her.
