Omg A Class Act is on your list- you're amazing!!! I LOVE A Class Act!
So based on your list, I would say you would like (if you don't already):
See What I Wanna See Floyd Collins Sweet Smell of Success They're Playing Our Song Saturday Night Wearing Someone Else's Clothes Lauren Kennedy Sings Jason Robert Brown Unsuspecting Hearts (the Emily and Alice CD)
Class Act, woot. I'm actually working on "Next Best Thing to Love" in my voice lessons. Adam Guettel came to our school about a month ago. Look for us on PBS!
No particular order - these are all modern/contemporary - no "classic musical comedies"
Into the Woods (arguably the most accessible, "starter Sondheim" show) The Light in the Piazza (same but with Guettel) Lippa's Wild Party Bernarda Alba Ragtime
