rent original cast members mark and roger

does anyone know if the original mark and roger (Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp) will be appearing in the matinee performances as well as the evening? I want to take my daughter and we're leaning to the matinee but we want to be sure to see them in it. Any opinions?

re: rent

Well they are not Charlotte D'Amboise so they will more than likely be there.

re: rent

do you know if mark and roger will be appearing in the matinee performances? You seem so smart, I was thinking you might have some insight.

re: rent

Well of course Mark & Roger will be appearing in the matinee! You silly goose! If there's no Mark & Roger then there's just Mimi, Collins, Angel, Maureen, Joanne, and Benny! That's like saying will Elle be in Legally Blonde tomorrow night.

Haha, sorry, that was a little harsh, but it's Adam Pascal (Roger) and Anthony Rapp (Mark). Sorry, I don't have an answer.

re: rent

I would suspect they are. I would hope it would be posted or known when buying the tickets if they were not going to be performing in the matinees.

I am going to a matinee to see them.

Oh god, leave the poor woman/man alone.

I don't see why they wouldn't, and I haven't heard anything saying they wouldn't.

I have several names, one is Julian2. I am also The Opps Girl. But cross me, and I become Bitch Dooku!

Oh. How I love newbies starting threads. It keeps me away from my sadness.

re: rent

Sorry, I suppose my previous post was a little harsh. Anyways, nothing has been announced if they are going to be out at all, so get the tickets assuming they'll be in it. They're not there that long (just over a month, correct?) so they shouldn't be out that much.

I can't wait for the "I didn't want to see Kyle Post!!! I PAID FOR ADAM AND ANTHONY DAMMIT! Waaaaaaah!" wank.

re: rent

so, you think it's not a good idea?

re: rent

Just buy the tickets. Things such as illness and other emergencies do happen, but most likely, they won't.

re: rent

I believe they are scheduled from July 30th to September 9th. There is no guarantee that they will appear in every show. As a previous poster mentioned- they might be out due to illness or emergencies. However, they are scheduled to be the full-time Mark and Roger for all shows - including matinees. re: rent Have a wonderful time. I know you'll really enjoy seeing Adam and Anthony.

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
