Um, Gimme the ball, is a lot harder to sing than most of the songs in Kinky Boots. If he can play Richie in The Chorus Line tour, I think he can handle this score.

"Give me the ball" is NOT singing in any comparison to Kinky Boots. Are you serious????? The fact that you even said that makes me question your credibility about anything. Anthony Wayne has a nice voice. But he could not carry Lola. I'm sorry. It's a lot more than "singing high".

As much as it would be interesting to see Chiwetel in the role again, isn't he a baritone? He has this very really rich deep voice, and I think the "broadway Lola" is supposed to be a tenor with a soulful "pop" voice.

Correct me if I'm wrong, for I haven't seen the show yet.
