Just got back from Wicked.... we got a chance to go backstage before the show and I won the lottery!!!!! Finally!!!!! It was awesome... they give out pins!!
Anyway... about the show...

Idina was well, phenomenal as usual. But you can kindof tell she is ready for a break... next week will be good for her. And when you're that close up, you can tell she is soooo happy on stage! She laughs with the cast and JLT all the time! I wish that carried out at the stage door... but that's besides the point...

JENNIFER LAURA THOMPSON IS SOOOO GOOD!!!! Seriously, i like her better than Kristin. She's so perfect in it, and enjoys it so much. She added all these new lines and jokes into Popular, and Idina was hysterically laughing. Huge improvement from when we saw her in it in early August... just awesome..

George and Joey were much better as well.
And James Gandolofini sat a few rows behind us! He seemd to enjoy it very much, haha...

Yeah, JLT just rocked. And Idina seems to have such a good time with her! They are a really good pair onstage... they compliment eachother well.

she added an entire hair toss section. idina was histerical... it was sooo cute!!!!!!!1 she called it the "internal toss"

it was adorable. She jsut kept like doing like tiny hair tosses and stuff and idina kepy doing them.... for a good 20 secs... soooo funny!!! And then finally she was like "look i dont even have to move my head.. it's like an internal hairtoss" soo cute! what was the micro one?

The micro one was hysterical. She kept doing the "toss, toss, toss" and then she said, "Ok Elphie look, the micro fip---did you see it?" And Idina shook her head no, and Jen was like "Exactly!" (b/c she never actually moved her head!)

OMG, that's cute that she changes it up all the time.

She really is HYSTERICAL. When I saw JLa in it, she did the whole "OK now don't use your hand, OK now don't say 'toss toss'" which I assume she always does. But then she just kept going, as always, I'm assuming, and she just kept saying "Subtle, subtle, subtle, subtle" and doing really little flips, and Idina kept slipping and saying "Toss toss" and JLa would yell at her and then go back to "Subtle, subtle"

That's fun that she changes it though.

I'm seeing it the 30th for the first aniversary(sp). (My first time I saw Eden, was so crushed I didnt see Idina, wasn't disappointed at all)Now I love Eden!

How do you guys find out when her breaks are? I'm going near Christmas for my first (and most likely last time)... how would I go about making sure Idina will be there?

She should be there then. She's out October 18th-24th I think. I wouldn't expect her to take any time off after that because she's leaving in January and she won't want to miss any shows so close to her last day.

I adore JLT! THe last time I saw the show. when she tries to turn Elphie's frock int oa ball gown, after she can't and she beats the bed with it, then her hand, she was like, "HM. THE BATTERIES!" And tries as hard as she can to twist the thing apart, and then Idina is like, "Wa--" ANd JLT cuts her off by going, "HOLD ON!" Then Idina said something along th elines of Maybe i fI he--" "HOLD ON!" And then Idina is like, "Maybe I should try!" And JLT glares at her and goes, "HOOLD ON!!!!!" Then Idina backs away and goes, "I'll just sit right here, okay?" It was so freaking funny! I'm also going on the 30th! The 8:00 show! Wheeeeeee!!

That is so cool... I can't wait till Jan 9...btw...I got an autographed pic of Idina in Elpheba costume from her last night. I had sent her a letter to the theatre 2 months ago telling her how much I enjoyed her performance and to thank her for such a wonderful memory and she was nice enough to send me something

Awww...yay! I met her on Friday...I was really scared after hearing all kinds of bad things, but she was really nice! I also saw Megan Hilty, the new Glinda understudy, who was also great and really sweet at the stagedoor! I have pictures if anyone wants to see.
