There's a school in a nearby city that is famous for doing totally inapropriate shows for high schools one year and then a totally boring show the next. In order, here's everything they've done in the last few years...
Cabaret
Hello, Dolly!
Man of La Mancha
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown
Gypsy
The Fantasticks
Assasins
Oklahoma!
For a high school to do Cabaret, Man of La Mancha and Gypsy is unheard of. Forum is a bit iffy with the brothel and everything, but La Mancha has a rape scene and centers around a whore, Gypsy is about strippers, Assasins is about the obvious, and Cabaret is, well, Cabaret. I love all those shows, but I'm so surprised that the director has kept his job. Next thing you know they'll be doing The Full Monty!

My favorite was Pirates of Penzance
My least was Annie Get Your Gun & Les Mis
[Les Mis might surprise you... but the only reason I don't like the show is because the leads are really bad and how he, my choir teacher, chose the leads were purely political]
RENThead, enLIGHist, Ozalot, Grobanite, Ringer, Pickwick LW, Wicked, Lost, American Dreams, West Wing
Lea S. Hugh J. Adam P. Idina M. Matt M. Taye D.

At least where I grew up we would NEVER be able to get away with ...Forum. We couldn't even have a guy appear shirtless on stage because of his exposed nipples.
