seating question
#1seating question
Posted: 7/14/13 at 2:10pmI will be in NYC the end of Aug for a friends engagement party. I will have enough time to see three shows. I know I need to get show tix asap. I want to see Kinky Boots, Pippin and First Date. I know Kinky and Pippin won't be on tdf so i need to buy full price tickets. Is the balcony, side ok for both of these shows? Or do I miss to much? I'm going to hold off on buying FIrst Date ticket until after it opens. Thanks for the help!

I was in row M of the Balcony all the way to the side once when I was there - it wasn't bad (though closer is better) It's not a huge theater and there is not a separate mezz and balcony like at Matilda..so it's not that high up. If I was going to be on the side, I think upstairs is better than orchestra side.
Can't help you with Pippin.

I sat in the rear row of the mezzanine for Pippin, aisle seat side section, view was fine and the theater is not that big so you do not feel like you are a block away. I can not say how far sides are though.
The Hirschfeld is a bigger, so rear mezzanine is a bit further back. I saw Elf from mid mezzanine and the view was fine.
