short N2N review Aug 30 09

Today was my 3rd time seeing N2N. Full cast. I loved loved loved this musical the first two times I saw it. And this time was not any different. The whole cast was on fire and giving it their all. However, Jenn needs a break. You can tell that her voice is strained and she needs to rest. Alice too. J. Robert Spencer and Kyle got better, if that was even possible. I think Kyle is acting and looking more and more like Aaron...i guess I was sitting farther away then I was the first time I saw Kyle..but at certain moments I couldn't tell if it was Kyle or Aaron on stage. Louis and Adam are great as always. I must see the show again once Aaron returns. Everyone see N2N.

And btw..my seats were through TDF and were in the orch center row p, not bad for $38.50 tickets

Jenn missed both shows on Saturday, so it sounds as if, based on your post, she still hasn't fully recovered from whatever was ailing her.

i forgot to add this into my review...

I've been looking all over the internet for a program but couldn't find one..(first two times I saw N2N they didnt have)
I bought one yesterday..its amazing..the set designs, th pictures..everything!

i hope a coffee table type book is made for this show eventually!

I saw Jen all 3 times I saw the show and each time she sounds worse. She needs a break longer than a few days off. I love her and she is my favorite of the whole cast but she just sounds strained.

Was at the matinee, and agree that Jenn's singing was strained. Would hate to see such a talented young woman damage her voice.
