is any one else really sad that shoshana bean is shutting down her fans ite.... i mean i understand her reasoning becase she has so many other things, but it was the only fan site i was on, and now theres no way to find out wha shes doing
maybe someone should take it over
well thats wut i thought but so much of it relies on the journals she writes and her q and a's and stuff that is she wasnt involved it would be pointless
if anyone were to "take over" another fan site it wouldn't be an official one endorsed by shoshana. SBO was. But per the reasons she stated, she doesn't feel the need to have it anymore and i think as fans, that needs to be respected. Her official site (shoshanabean.com) will be up come august and all the information she feels she needs to share should be available there.

I think that this is a misake.
I understand that Shoshana is a very very busy woman, but this website was such a great link to her fans. I am sad to see it go.
I agree with Sho's decision. Not to many other actors have fansites. I think that all her info. will still be on her actual site. Who knows, she still may drop a journal entry off time to time...Idina does the same thing on hers.

You must not follow Wicked very much.
It seems as if everyone and their brother - at least when it comes to the actresses who play the witches - has an official website *and* an official fan website.

I dont see why she can have an authorized/offical fan site run by a fan, aren't most fansites run by fans?
not saying she couldn't. saying it wouldn't be supported by her.
SBO was endorsed by shoshana and the webmaster and shoshana communicated on what could/couldn't go on the site, and shoshana sent in journal entries and used it as her official means of getting info to fans.
If a fan were to create a site on their own, it wouldn't work quite that way unless that particular "star" supported the site and worked with the webmaster in a similiar situation as with shoshana's site.
that was a mouth full!
musicalsFan, i just want to state for the record that julia murney's fansite was created long before green makeup came into the picture.
back on topic. it's sad to see sbo go, it was such a well put together site full of info.

You might want to ask Santa on his fansite.

SantaClausOnline? It was shut down a few years ago...he got too "busy" to answer anymore questions or make anymore diary entries. I was getting really excited. He had just started doing video diaries.

i bet her actual site will be great, but you'd think that shoshanabeanonline could have stayed open, just without shoshana adding anything to it. its a shame to throw away all the good content that was on there.
I loved reading her q&a's and journal's
