Posted: 12/29/07 at 9:42pmHi, Bryan! I agree with you and wish that the record company execs would get all these titles onto CD and SOON! I choose to focus on the positive developments: DRG is still promising 1967's Illya Darling sometime; and Sepia will in February release the Columbia Original Broadway Cast Recording of an obscure '50s show called Simply Heavenly. So that's two more that are definitely coming!!

Posted: 12/29/07 at 9:57pmBy the way, Bryan, check at Amazon.com: The Gospel At Colonus IS available on disc. It is a PRE-Broadway cast album, recorded in Philadelphia in 1985, but it is the same show that played Broadway in 1988, and seems to have much the same cast. It's on the Nonesuch label.

Not too sure about the record companies but here are a few LPs that I've transfered to CD, but would LOVE to get a real version of:
Jeeves ( I think MCA has this one)
Mutiny! ( both the concept and London)
Let My People Come ( guilty pleasure I know, but the CD booklet should be fabulous )
Tell Me on a Sunday ( The odd Swedish version that I think only I have ever heard of. I know of the German versions but this is not that)
DisinHAIRited (Both the London and Fresh HAIR got put on to Cd)
The Odessa File ( I know it's a soundtrack but it's ALW )
