shows with good seats for student rush

I did a search for student rush, but that just came up with a lot of "how to's" and I already know how student rush works. I was just wondering what shows who offer student rush had fairly decent student rush seats. I saw Tarzan today, and the rush seats (for today, at least, I've heard the location of rush seats for this show change alot) were less than great. I know student rush is a great deal, and I should be thankful for the opportunity to see a show for practically nothing, but at the same time, nice seats for a show are a plus. What shows have pretty decent rush seats?

Jersey Boys seats are fabulous but hard to get. I second Wedding Singer-- tried rush for the first time today and loved the seats. Also, Spelling Bee has student rush, and no seat in that theater is terrible. I'd also suggest the Talkin' Broadway boards, because they have all the rush policies.

Company is row A.
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

Jay Johnson The Two and Only has WONDERFUL seats! They ain't front row. They're in the balcony. But it's at the front of the balcony.

Tarzan's are good but there's a block and you can't see the top of the stage but you don't miss to much.

Jersey Boys rush has my favorite rush seats right there on the sides in the front rows. Second, by The Producers with seats on the side in the front rows.

When did Company's change? Isn't Row A third row? When I went they were Row AA.

re: shows with good seats for student rush

Tarzan's rush seats ARE really bad. I can't imagine what they were thinking when they put that show in that theater. What's worse is that the view for the partial view seats that aren't only $20 isn't much better.

Company's rush seats are front row first, then box seats, then (I believe) any unsold seats throughout the theater.

When we did student rush for Spring Awakening, the rush seats were in the boxes. They also have the $31ish on stage seats, but I think those need to be purchased in advance.

High Fidelity has a lottery for the front row of seats.

When I rushed COMPANY, my seat was in the left box. NOT a very good seat. re: shows with good seats for student rush

JACQUES BREL... has amazing rush seats. It's best available, and I've usually gotten center orchestra. There isn't a bad seat in that house, though, so it really doesn't matter.

LOSING LOUIE: Front row of the mezzanine, on the aisle.

THE PRIME OF MISS JEAN BRODIE: Second row, aisle. Tiny theatre.

GREY GARDENS: Front row, side orchestra.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

When I did Wedding Singer rush, my seats were smack dab in the middle of the orchestra. Probably the best seats I've ever had for a show, rush or no rush.

Martin Short also has a student rush. Our seats were in the last row of the orchestra all the way to the right, but the theatre is pretty small that so we still saw everything fine.

Tarzan rush/obstructed view seats are terrible. You can't even see the top half of the stage, so you miss out on all the cool flying effects. But that show pretty much sucks anyway.

I hear Jersey Boys are good if you can get them.

re: shows with good seats for student rush

like a few other people have said....Jersey Boys student rush seats are definetly very good especially for a show like that you would expect to have bad seats, but they are great, just a bit hard to get unless you go very early.
Come on babe we're gonna paint the town...and all that jazz...
