Patash--You took the words right out of my mouth, but I was afraid of being mean when I first saw that comment about Breslin not speaking...and JoeKv99, you're kidding, right? When I was in grade school, everybody read The Miracle Worker and knew who Helen Keller was. I guess I just find these comments kind of amazing...and call me crazy, but I would think it does take acting talent to play a character who is blind, deaf, and mute and that would make Helen Keller a starring role. Wow!

The placement of the intermission has been changed. Now both acts are approximately 1 hour each (2nd act a bit shorter, but by no means is it 30 minutes).

As for the set ... its a bare stage divided into 3 levels (one step up for each level) with all the furnishings of the different rooms hanging from above, raised and lowered as needed. Some smaller pieces, like the water pump and door frames, come up from the stage floor. Updated On: 2/19/10 at 09:47 AM
