spelling bee question

Has any cast member accidently spell a word wrong? If so, how did they handle it?

According to Sarah, when the show was in the early stages the cast would spell words incorrectly all the time. The audience would ask the cast later "How did you stay in? You spelled every single word wrong!"

I'm not sure about recent performances, though. You'd think they'd have those scripted words down pat after over a year AT LEAST of doing the show...

They press on as if the word was spelled correctly.

the actor playing the VP wouldn't "ring" them out if it wasn't the scripted point at which that character gets eliminated, even if they did in fact spell the word wrong. It is still a scripted show though audience members on stage add an improv feel to it.

I've heard a few words spelled wrong by cast members in the show. I'm usually the only one who notices though.
