"we stop all snow blind"
I had the same issue when i didnt have the lyrics..lol
what does that even mean? hahaha
Lauren,
Not sure if you bought the CD but they screwed up the insert. There are mistakes with the lyrics and they also list some guy named Tom Deckman as Hanschen instead of Jonathan B. Wright. Decca Broadway has apologized for the mistakes but what the heck!

lol not sure. Maybe like when you are in the snow and you look into the sky as it is falling and it gets in your eyes?? Totally guessing. haha
Check out this site for the lyrics.

Yes but are they correct? Makes you wonder after Decca's mistakes on the freaking cast album that people pay money for!

Well that site has errors also. Anna and Wendla's parts are mixed up. Wendla starts the song. And I think it is "We stop all snow blind" cuz i watched their mouths when they sang to see for sure.

WHAT ARE THE LYRICS!!!!
I'm sorry, I do not know them. Write www.springawakening.com
"It's chill in the wind, but it's warm in your arms/We stop, all snow blind."
~Steven
I'm still quite confused as to the meaning of that line. "We stop, all snow blind / may not be true" . . . what may not be true?
I really wish that there was a good lyric listing for this show.
that lyric makes noooo sense!!!! aaaaah
Ummm, aside all the misprints, or whatever...
It's about spunk. It cools in the wind, but is warm on the arm.
Boys...you know this...
Masterbati------
You might go blind doing this... (the "Adults" in the show are telling you this might happen--that's what's not true.)
The show is about adults not spelling it out; and that is what the kids in the show suffer from...and I'm not going to be that adult.
Of course, I don't want a pre-teen poster or anyone on this board to emulate the ultimate actions of certain characters in this profound piece of theatre, because no-one spells it out...
Junk is your own.
Ask your parents to take you to this show.
Or bring them, if you can afford it. It's worth the discussion.
It's yet another seasons methaphor. The lyrics are:
See us, winter walking after a storm,
It's chill in the wind, but it's warm in your arms.
We stop all snow blind, may not be true.
We've all got our junk, and my junk is you.
--
See we still keep talkin' after you're gone.
You're still with me then, feels so good in my arms.
They say you go blind, maybe it's true.
We've all got our junk, and my junk is you.
It's like we stop time. What can I do?
We've all got our junk, and my junk is you.
My junk is you.
The song is about having a crush on someone and the way you think about being with them even when you're not. They're picturing themselves walking with whoever after a storm, so in love that they are blind to the snow. At least that's what I got from it...

Crafty--you're better than I...
I went for the groin. And metaphor. (umm, he's kinda servicing himself during the number...)
Your interpretation is much more elegant. (Yet, I'm not sure what crush you're refering to within context of the show and that scene. It's an internal monoluge for the girls and him.)
There is much to be discussed about this show. And I look forward to these discussions. (Not just "I LOVE THIS SHOW", kinda threads--even though I do...)

If anyone needs help with "The Song of Purple Summer" lyrics, just ask- listening to that song over 70 times sure helps you know the lyrics... :)
The lyrics are metaphorical not literal.
"Stop all snow blind..."
Meaning you can't see anything else but what is right in front of you.
