No seriously, did you really just ask this question? Hmmm...on-stage for $31...discount tickets ~$65...regularly priced tickets $120. You do the math...
Really? When did that happen? (The price change?)
(I have tix for Jan and they were 31.50; Feb seats haven't even gone on sale yet.)
If this is your first time seeing the show, then I would pass with the on stage seats. If you have seen the show, then yes I would buy them. Either way have a great time!
I just checked telecharge and it says that on-stage seats are $32.00. It also says they are selling thrugh June 1st. And it seems all on-stage seats are sold out between now and then.
stage seats are sold month by month. right now there only sold until febuary. pretty soon they should be releasing feburary seats, first to fan club then to general public. and the price change was listed at the box office.
Thanks for the update.
I agree with other posters: first time see it from house seats..it was directed for those audience members. If you fall in love with SA, then stage seats are the next step.
You feel both more a part of some things and strangely more removed from others. Because you are on the side, you will miss the big picture as well as many facial expressions.
On Sunday, I'm silly enough to see the show both ways...it'll be a great way to truly compare things though.
Awesome experience for someone already "into" it.
I actually was lucky enough to get onstage seats a few weeks ago because they had like 3 left for the show that I went to. I waited in the student rush line.
It was my first time seeing the show, and although some things were blocked a bit I was still in awe of their performances. I would say that one of my favorite parts of the onstage seats was the fact that I was close enough to actually see their facial expressions, and it's always a plus for me when you can hear the actors' natural singing voices.
