Posted: 10/26/08 at 6:38pmis anyone having trouble finding tickets for last show of spring awakeing. apparently they are sold out alreasy because i have never seen a closing night show sell out so quickly i mean they were open to the fanclub but only to the orchestra and front mezz. doesz anyoe know if there r still blocks of tix open for sell or where i could get them

This has been posted in at least TWO other threads:
It is BELIEVED that they did not release all of the tix; but held 3 to 4 hundred for VIPs....cast members family, producers, former cast members and other invited guests.
As it gets closer, some of them may indeed be released once they know how many will NOT be taken by the above groups.
Just keep trying and hope that something comes of it!

very true!
The last show is always special, there's a different energy to it. It's memorable, and if a show means a lot to someone, it's just comforting in a way to be there. Rent's last show was a show I'll never forget, so I see why people would want to go so badly.

I have to admit: I didn't want to go "badly". I wanted to go once more before it closed. But a friend of mine was able to land tix for the last show...so we're going.
Frankly, I'm afraid of the uber fan girls that will be invading the EO'N...it could get ugly. (Groff's last day was bad enough)

Well, what do you expect? The show has a huge fanbase among teenagers, which is probably one of the largest groups with a disposable income.

sleepyguy, telecharge did start already. When the final date was first announced they were only on sale until jan. 3rd. But sure enough, 10am or so Friday the were released until the 18th.
And people attacked... ha
As for the fangirls... I'm bring my mace with me... that or a shiny object... both will be effective... they will NOT ruin it for me... haha

Only a limited number of box seats were made available according the man at the box office that sold it to me. Send me an offer if you are interested.
