i heard that sutton foster was taking a week or so off from the drowsy chaperone, including when i'm in NYC next on sunday september 24th [matinee], and i've looked but found no information on the subject as of yet. don't bite my head off is this is well known info, i'd just like to know so i can plan accordingly.

yes she is out of the show starting the 18th i think....

Yes - she'll be out for her wedding and honeymoon.
I've heard her understudy (sorry - I don't remember the name they gave me) is terrific and I'm seriously considering going again - if only to see Beth and Danny!

so she'll definitely be out the 24th then?
UGH THAT BLOWS!..
but, do you guys think it'd be worth seeing drowsy without her? the other cast members seem to be amazing, but should i wait for another time when she is there? any kind of feedback/opinion would be spectacular, thank you!

it's totally owrth it. I mean, yeah she's good, but Bob Martain and Beth Leavel are incredible! Totally worth seeing it for them.
Danny is good too.

Sutton is always amazing.
The role is very small (IN COMPARISON TO MILLIE)
The other roles are key to the show.
Beth Leavel and Bob Martin are the ones that steal DC.
Beth shows off and deserves three hundred standing ovations.
See the show!
Bob and Beth!!!
Sutton does not need to showoff to prove she is a star.
The show will shine with or without Sutton.
Beth Leavel shines so bright you will need glasses from her star power.

Posted: 9/16/06 at 9:01amThe show will definitely be worth it without Sutton -- she's the reason why I initially went to see the show, but now, I could see it without her. Beth steals the show, and Bob & Danny are really close to it. The show without the three of THEM wouldn't be the same, in my opinion.
