She is actually there to the end, as it is now scheduled.
But yes, she does have an eventual end date.

I was also at Daphne's last. I thought she was amazing. Not knowing if I was going to make it to her last show, I had ordered flowers a while back and had them delivered to her the day before, so I know she got some flowers . . . just not up on stage with her! She is such a nice lady . . . I would say I'm sad to see her go but even though I loved her as Fantine I'm glad not to have to hear all of the negative reviews. And its not like I'll get much of a chance to miss her with her next show opening in less than two weeks!

I don't know how long Lea will stay, but Les Mis is now an open-ended run so I'm sure she her contract is for a certain period of time. Maybe a standard six months?

Well broadwayismylife, it has to do with the idea that not everyone is as closed-minded as you are. A lot of people have the ability to find the good in something. You obviously do not have that ability.

A lot of poeple loved Daphne's Fantine, you cannot deny that. So leave room for the idea that there's more to her performance than what you see.

By the way, that was a very um...clever insult your friends came up with...

Sad to see Daphne go. I truly enjoyed her performance, even if I didn't absolutely love it.

BUT, with that said, OH MY GOD, LEA SALONGA LIVE?!?! YES PLEASE!

Right now, she's scheduled to perform up to the end of the run or at the maximum - late fall 2007 or early winter. She can't go beyond that because she is scheduled to perform Cinderella in early 2008.

I think Lea Delaria would make a GREAT Fantine. I'm all for non-traditional casting.
