If I had a choice, I would choose either the theater that The Drowsy Chaperone is currently in, or the theater that Jersey Boys is currently in.

I think the Marquis is too big for a show like Grease. The august Wilson could work.
Maybe the Hirschfeld? *ducks the rocks from "Curtains" fans*

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what?

actor- August Wilson and Marquis
Ideally I would say the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, Cort or the Richard Rodgers.

Unles you can come up with suggestions of theatres to move shows that are in the theatre u said than that would not work.

Broadhurst
LES MIS should be finished by then, so that would be a perfect theatre!

I'd think that since the stars of this production are going to be known by the nation, that the show could do big business, and might be looking for a larger house than your typical production of "Grease" might be looking for. Maybe the St. James?

I doubt it will get the St. James with two shows already wanting it.
What about the Belasco, since the everybody is already going to know about it they don't need a theater that is so close...

The St. James has The Producers in it. There's probably something I don't know about though.

The Grease revival is co-produced by the Nederlanders, so I would suspect it would go to a Nederlander-owned theatre, if at all possible.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

I am not sure...maybe the Weisler's can build a theater for all of their shows...Sally Struthers Center for the Arts...it would be cute.

How about the Nederlander Theatre. Rent's grosses haven't been that well for a while.

Eugene O'Neil - Hairspray will be around for sometime yet, they are not going to close it before the film comes out and miss what will probably be a massive demand for it again.
What about replacin Beauty and The Beast? Is that still selling well?

I agree with bwayondabrain. It will most likely get the Broadhurst. Les Miz will be over by then and that's around the time they are going into production. It's a perfect match!
