Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell, the team behind the heavy-meta musical
?[title of show],? are writing a new sitcom for ABC ? as yet untitled, of course.

Mr. Bowen said he and Mr. Bell were developing the half-hour show with Marc Cherry, the creator of ?Desperate Housewives,? the executive producer Sabrina Wind and Michael Berresse, who directed and choreographed ?[title of show]? on and off Broadway.

Although the TV show is in the early stages of development, Mr. Bowen said it would not be a musical and would not be based on ?[title of show].? He also said there were no plans for him or Mr. Bell to be in the cast.

Weren't they working on a show for the Disney Cruise Line too? Did they ever finish that?


... Or did I confuse them with someone else?

Nope you're correct.

They've penned the new Disney Villains show for the cruise line...I believe it goes onto the ship sometime this fall. A casting notice has gone out, so I would assume auditions are either currently happening or coming up soon.
