I'm seeing the 'Rent' tour today, and I'm curious as to wether they do the stage door/autographs thing? Do I just ask somebody at the theatre where the door is, and then wait? I'm asking because most people in TN aren't very theatre savvy and I don't want to look like an idiot standing out there by myself if they don't sign autographs.

If you show up and ask politeley, most likely they will sign. As far as I know, the curreent tour cast is very friendly. Brian Gligor (Mark) has been known to openly post on fan message bpoards, openly answeringa ny questions that he can about the tour, show, etc.

Just avoid "Renthead syndrome" and stalking the cast.

I always go to the stage door at tour shows. I think it makes the cast feel good when they see people come talk to them, who appreciate their work. Go for it.
