Eponnie in Les miz: because I can sound like France Ruffelle.
Lorraine/Francine and others in Jersey Boys: because my singing voice is like Sarahs in the song "My Boyfriends Back" and sometimes I like to sing like Erica in the song "I Still Care"
Janet Van Der Graff in the Drowsy Chaperone: because Sutton Foster ROCKS!
Mrs.Lovvet in Sweeney Todd: because Patti LuPone is my idol.
Evita Peron in Evita: because even though i'm 12 years old i can belt like Patti in the song "A New Argentina"
Hey Sutton Foster had librotto at age ten!

Joanne (RENT)
Lady of the Lake (Spamalot)
Cathy (The Last Five Years)
Eponine (Les Miserables)
Lucy (You're A Good Man Charlie Brown)
Ellen (Miss Saigon)
As for male parts...
Mark (RENT)
Sir Lancelot (Spamalot)
Herbert (Spamalot)
Bert (Mary Poppins)
Jamie (The Last Five Years)
Leo Bloom (The Producers)
Timone (The Lion King)
Rod (Avenue Q)
That's all I can think of right now.
I remember days
Or at least I try
But as years go by
They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink
Isn't really sky
And at times I think
I would gladly die
For a day of sky

I'm fairly new to Broadway stuff, but I would love to play Christine from Phantom or Johanna from Sweeney Todd if I was actually a soprano, but since I'm not...
Esmeralda*--Der Gloeckner Von Notre Dame (needs to be brought to the US)
Mrs. Lovett--Sweeney Todd
Ulla--The Producers
*(Esmeralda sounds like a mezzo [my range] from what I've heard off the German album, although I could be wrong.)

Without regard to gender, definitely Mark Cohen. I just relate to him so completely.
I would also love to play Eliza Doolittle.
However, I have no singing voice, so all this is pure fantasy!

In addition to what I've already said....
Am I the only one who thinks Madame Thenardier would be the Les Mis role that would be the most fun to do? I look like an Eponine or Cosette, but if I had my choice I'd rather be a Thenardier! I find ingenues boring.

deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.
