I am so disappointed that this show was canceled. I am coming to nyc for 8 days on April 6. I now have one slot open.
I am up to date with all the shows that have been playing So far I am seeing Sweeney, Camelot, Bad Cinderella, A Dolls House, New York New York, Shucked, Fat Ham, Goodnight Oscar, Life of Pi, Anthony Rapp Without you, Coast Starlight and Dancin BTW, saw Parade last time I was in NYC
my choices are Pictures from Home, The Thanksgiving Play and Summer 1976.
Any help in decision making would be greatly appreciated.

You've certainly got your bases covered! Two of those options have not yet started performances, but my personal recommendation would be The Thanksgiving Play. It's a well-written, satirical play from 2015 and the cast looks impressive. I didn't care at all for Pictures From Home (unless if you're aching to see Nathan Lane) and I haven't heard much buzz about Summer, 1976. Enjoy the trip!

thank you so much. I am now leaning to Thanksgiving Play.
From your list? Thanksgiving Play
But, if you haven't seen it, Kimberly Akimbo is really special.

Summer 1976 intrigues me as I love Laura Linney, and I've heard good things about Thanksgiving Play. I don't think you'd go wrong with either of those choices. I saw Goodnight, Oscar in Chicago and it's excellent for another play option.
