I'm having an interview with the person who designed Audrey II for the broadway show Little Shop of Horrors, I'm not sure what to ask, is there anything you'd like to know that I could ask and gladly report back on.
How many people work Audrey a night, and what training do they go through to be a puppeteer?
What artistic/financial factors have to be thought of when designing?
How is Audrey Constructed, and how much damage is done in a show.
Did she have an "understudy" ready to go if there was a huge problem or malfunction?
were there any major design differences for the Audrey II on Broadway compared to the other versions designed in the past for the movie/off-Broadway etc...
Since the operator cannot see, is there some innovation in the design thus better enabling them to hear? It's got to be tough to hear inside the puppet as well.
