I like The Girl I mean to Be. I sing that song in musical theatre class
Lily's Eyes gives me chills everytime. Especially the Anthony Warlow/Phillip Quast recording.
Ditto Lily's Eyes. Nothing else comes close :)
Here's my top three (but I love all the songs from the show!):
Lily's Eyes
Hold On

I think it's Hold On, with Lily's Eyes a close second.
My favorite is actually 'Race You to The Top of the Morning'. And I love Anthony Warlow's 'Where In The World'.
Sounds like I need to hear the London recording. I've played Neville in the show and have always loved the score. I think Race You To The Top of The Morning is wonderful, but I can't pick a favorite from the show. Does the London Recording have the section that was left off the OBC? The mystical chant/dance section? That was a blast to see on stage in the two productions I was in.
The Australian recording is the one with Anthony Warlow and Phillip Quast, and the one you need to get!
It only has 8 of the songs, though, so it's actually shorter than the OBC recording.

No votes for "Come to My Garden"? It's so creepy-pretty.

I played Mary Lennox way back when and I love the songs:
Winters on the Wing
Hold on
Lilys Eyes
and you see none of those were the songs that I sang...sad huh? Martha, Dickon, Archibald, have the best songs I think!

I have seen a video clip of Hugh Jackman singing LILY'S EYES with another Australian singer. Beautiful!
Def gotta give another vote for "Lily's Eyes."
But right behind is I forget if it's an actual song or mixed in in others but "Come to my garden"...just so pretty, and I find "Wick" enjoyable as well.
Definately "How Could I Ever Know?"...seconded by "Come to My Garden"...
It's tough to narrow it down, but chalk up another vote for "Wick".
I'll also add some honorable mention votes to "Winter on the Wings" and "Lily's Eyes"
I ADORE how could I ever know. It used to be my audition song.
Where can I purchase the Australian version??? This show is completely new to me. When I went onto Amazon.com I only found the OBC and the London cast recording....no Australian!
Help! I adore Anthony Warlow!
How Could I Ever Know
Lily's Eyes
Round Shouldered Man has a special spot in my heart, though because I was Colin.

Hold On
I think Martha's songs are so touching. I do love Lily's eyes also. I've never heard the Australian version but I think Mandy Patinkin is great.
All of them! This show has the best score I have ever heard!
