Off-season....folks are back in school, back in work, and October is usually a slightly slower time for B'way...(notice I said "usually" and "slightly") It's a great time to get to the city!!!!

Yes, it's the right time for me. I'll be there tomorrow. Nine nights - 13 shows!
That's the only way to do it, pab! What else are you seeing?
Wow, pab. Is your butt gonna be sore.
Here are the shows and the order in which I'll be seeing them:
Bombay Dreams, The Frogs, I Am My Own Wife, Avenue Q, Bug, Brooklyn, Wicked, Fiddler On The Roof, The Lion King, Hairspray, The Producers, Forever Tango & Reckless.

Is my face green? Not with Wicked-ness, but envy? pab, that's a great list there. And lucky for you, you'll be getting here before several of those shows close. ie - I am my own wife. It'll rock your face off. There's a reason things win Pulitzers people!!! Enjoy
Thanks! I thought that I might not make it for a while there with all of the hurricanes in our area but, for now, they have passed. I've seen some of those shows already but my wife has not see any of them so I'll be making repeat trips to Hairspray, The Producers and Wicked.
i bet in the holiday season everything will pick back up and Lion King/Wicked will be back to their sickening (is that a word) high rates. ugh.
I can still never figure out how something is more than 100% attendance... But it is a slow month.
Pab- that's awesome! Have so much fun!

I know that sometimes a +100% attendance is due to standing room only tickets.
As far as it being a great time to go to NY - I'll be there on Saturday to see Avenue Q.

Well, it's touring - it's played many major cities and it's coming back to Chicago for the second time - so it's no longer something you HAVE TO go to Broadway to see.
The worst months for Broadway and tourism in general is September and February.
