Too many people guessed wrong and already had Joan of Arc and Charlie tickets booked in advance...

Musicals generally sell better than plays and the only musicals on there right now are duds.

Well you're misinformed! ^^^
Great Comet, Groundhog Day and Miss saigon are all up and have been quite frequently.

I think that people tend to forget here that TDF is an exclusive, accessibility program. It is not for everyone and when productions have extra tickets, whether they are a hit or not, they are given to TDF for their members.
TKTS, TDF's more public program, offers MOST shows on Broadway at a heavy discount NIGHTLY right on the street in Times Square, including some of Broadway's biggest shows.
So I don't know why anyone seems to be concerned. We should be so lucky a program like this exists that provides us few members the opportunity to buy tickets to these quality shows at this rate.
End rant.

Groundhog had lots of availability yesterday am, but they are entirely gone now. Comet has only days when Josh Groban is out. Many people had adopted a "wait and see" attitude and will now see these.
I suspect that they will be harder to get on TDF for the next few weeks.

A combination of the mediocre shows that aren't selling well and can't attract an audience for whatever reason and the shows that are in big theaters and can't move all those seats at full price. There are only so many people to sell on the shows that aren't Hamilton, Wicked, The Lion King, etc.

Great Comet only has right now the shows without Groban and Miss Saigon got bad reviews. Groundhog Day is the only one that should be selling more tickets, but for some reason or another isn't.
