From what I saw of this show, they threw out the adult sensibility almost entirely and made it very much a show for little girls. That might explain why adults didn't like it.

Let's be honest, folks -- the plastic bongs were a part of the set because plastic bongs influenced much of the decision-making behind the production.

I always thought that "She's In Love" sounded like a rejected Little Shop of Horrors number set to new lyrics. Hands down the worst of the material.
