whose was the worst performance you've seen on broadway?
Christy Carlson Romano in "Beauty and the Beast"
if not the worst than close.
Josefina Gabrielle in Oklahoma! Not the worst, but pretty bad. She was better in London.
No comment, but I do know the worst performance on BroadwayWorld today...

Jon Secada in Cabaret. Blech.
Sutton Foster in Thoroghly Modern Millie...absolutely horrific...

CCR for sure...she was only on broadway because of being on Even Stevens...I couldn't believe they cast her, when they could have cast any of the million of unknowns who can really sing. Thank God for Ashley Brown!
I dunno...I've always enjoyed CCR on the Parade soundtrack.
Umm, I havn't seen many performances B'way, but I heard Mel.B in RENT was pretty bad.
I object to this thread completely. This is just for people to be spiteful and mean.

It was Off broadway, but Ally Sheedy in Hedwig was an abortion.

I agree with Kevinoes. There may be people on this board who enjoyed the performences that you are saying are "the worst" and they might be offended. But that's beside the point- its just mean-spirted.
OKay...I'm a little off...CCR was on parade...okay She does sound really good. But for some reason I didn't get a feel for her as belle..but she does sound great actually. Interesting...I guess it always depends on the music, if it suits the voice or not!
I thought Joey Fatone as Mark in Rent was pretty bad.
Most of the "bad" performances you hear people talk about are usually the result of stunt casting.
Josefina Gabrielle was nowhere NEAR the worst. But I'll agree she was better in London.
I actually think Christy Carlson-Romano has a good voice.
Rue McClanahan in Wicked, most definitely.
well there's mean and than there's the truth
something happened to CCR between PARADE and BEAUTY
Hmmm...I'll say- Shirley Jones in "42nd Street".
I thought Sandra Joseph in PHANTOM currently needs to go. Seriously.
