Okay so my favorite shows are:
Rent, In the Heights, Jersey Boys, Sweeney Todd, and Legally Blonde... with that in mind here are a bunch of shows I'm considering seeing. I'm in NYC until June 21st so I'll probably get most of them in, but which do you think I should MAKE SURE I see, and why?
Currently Running Broadway Shows that I have NOT seen:
Chicago
Cry Baby
Gypsy
Sunday In the Park with George
The Little Mermaid
A Catered Affair
Curtains
Grease
Mary Poppins
The Phantom of the Opera
August Osage County
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (but i've seen other productions of it)
Les Liasons Dangereuses (saw another production of it and LOVED it)
November
The Country Girl
Top Girls
Boeing Boeing
(South Pacific isn't on the list because I have tickets for it already in August, which I am quite excited about)
Haven't seen any off broadway shows either except altar boyz and i'm always looking for reccomendations for those.

Wow! Never seen Phantom...?! Even I caught it for the first time in '06! Definitely a MUST SEE.
Sunday and Gypsy, good choices, too.
Might consider Curtains, since it is on the way out (YEAH!--Not because of this show closing, but, because "A Tale of Two Cities" will be coming on in the theatre they are currently holding ;D

My recommendations (bear in mind, I haven't seen all the shows you haven't seen):
AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY (not to be missed!)
CURTAINS (David Hyde Pierce is *really* wonderful)
