annie it seems like that's the name of the game on bway. whatever it takes to market yourself.
although i don't think idina had to convince most people that she was good. she was awesome in rent and i think she had them convinced that she knew her stuff.

*hands soap box back to annie*

why DOES she do it? i know there's the whole specualation about the swallowing tongue thing but does she really have a problem with that?
and props to everyone who's interested in learning new techniques. personally, i like mine, but hey, who's to say idina's isn't better? well, actually, now that i think about it, it obviously is b/c !hello! she's on bway and i'm...well i'm not. :)

*standing ovation for mattio*
i like that. and on that note, how can we actually tell that idina's voice was harmed? i mean, there's obviously the issue about singing with bronchitis, but other than that...

singing anything for an extended amount of time is going to cause wear and tear to the vocal chords, so i would think that as long as she takes enough time off to 'come back up to speed' vocally, there's really nothing wrong. as for debating whether or not she's gonna have a vo

re: Any one know any good Musical theater schools?
 Dec 29 2004, 02:24:43 PM
hey, i'm kinda new to this, but i found this thread really interesting b/c i'm in college and studying business, but i've studied voice for the past 5 years and now for the past year and a half or so, i've been bitten with the broadway bug, mainly b/c of my teacher. anyway, i really don't know anything about anything so i was curious about options available after graduation, like masters degree programs, and also the success of going such a route. anything at all would help. thanks!!
