What I found out from Troika is that The Jesus Christ Superstar Ted Neeley Farewell Tour is set to run from September, 2006 through June, 2007 (opening on or about September 9, 2006). Troika Entertainment is booking it. Okay. SOme of you think Ted is too old to play JC. Well, he's the youngest 60+ year old I know. He has more stamina than any three actors combined. That said, Ted and Carl were the BEST Jesus/Judas JCS ever had. Why? Because they didn't ACT those roles, they INHABITED them. It is a SHAME we won't see them both (THANK YOU VERY MUCH ALW), but at least we are still fortunate enough to see Ted do this one more time. I will DEFINITELY be at this show - and will enjoy EVERY MIN

Why does NO one mention Robert Cuccioli? The ORIGINAL Jekyll/Hyde? He should play the role. And Linda Eder should do Lucy. Period. It has CONSTATNLY IRKED me that almost no one who creates a role onstage reprises it in the film of any play (save RENT - and did you know that for awhile they had such WONDERFUL ideas for RENT as casting Tom Collins white? SHEESH!). BTW, I loved RENT. Those characters didn't need to be young. Neither do these. A professor wouldn't be 21-22 anyway, they would
