Betty will be amazing, but I am surprised this Texas production is in Odessa and not Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston or... well, anywhere else!

Just curious to see what people think. I think Betty'd be an amazing Desiree in A Little Night Music. I also think she should play Elenor in the Lion in Winter. Anyone else?

Wow, hate to say it, but i've never really considered Daisy to be a really pretty girl, but she looks so good now. I can't wait to see her strip! haha

if youre talking about the one at the ector in odessa (which I assume you are) starring maria friedman, it hasn't opened yet. it will open august 11.

This must all be rumor. I have seen no official announcements that would indicate such a high profile production of Gypsy. Especially in Odessa. The surprising Odessa production of Chicago turned many heads last year here in Dallas / Ft. Worth, but certainly would not have given them the national and international clout to pull off something this big. Nothing about it is mentioned at www.daisyeagan.com or www.aboutmaria.com I bet it's all talk.

Yeah, she's got to be coming to Dallas or Houston. Trouble is, I don't recall seeing any of the big houses producing Gypsy this summer. Don't you think we'd have heard something?
