Um...the best thing about Tarzan is Merle Dandridge. Somebody put her in a real show, please.

Shakespeare in the park cancellation line questions Jun 13
2006, 04:55:34 PM
Hey. I've never done the whole Shakespeare in the park thing before but I really want to see Macbeth because of Liev Schreiber. I know that people start lining up really early for tickets but there is also a cancellation line. I've got two quick questions: What time do people usually start to queue for cancellations and what is the probability of getting cancellations? Any help is appreciated. Bill

"I thought the Carnegie Hall CD was out of print?" It is, but there's a store in my town that deals with rare/out of print CDs. I've gotten a lot of great, hard to find cast recordings through there.

I was there too, and I also saw DaCosta with her baggage. Great show. I went in sure that I was going to hate it and hate Christina and left pleasantly surprised, so even if you think you won't like it, give it a try.

Thanks a lot, guys. I have the OBCR and love it. I think I'm going to go for this too, provided that I can find a reasonably priced copy.

I didn't care for Stokes Mitchell as Valentin. His singing was great, as usual, but that faker than fake accent drove my up a wall.

I searched and nothing came up. Would you guys recommend picking up the 1995 Carnegie Hall recording of Anyone Can Whistle, with Bernadette Peters and Madeline Kahn?

I believe that Clark is on vacation this coming week (August 16-21). Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, I'm addicted to this show. I'm at work right now with the OBCR blaring through my headphones. It's the only thing getting me through my pathetic 9-5.

A question about Miss Murphy: Has she had poor attendance her entire career or was Wonderful Town the first instance in which she just didn't show up repeatedly? She was at the performance I saw and was fabulous.
