re: ThreePenny Opera Recording

After the performance on May 28th, I asked Cyndi if a recording was still a possibility. She said that she hasn't heard anything about it.

I called the Roundabout Theatre today to ask if a cd was in the works. The receptionist wanted to put me through to the marketing department but they were all out to lunch. She seemed surprised that there was any interest in a cast recording. She said she would pass along to the marketing dept that there has been interest on the internet.
Doesnt't sound very hopeful.

Edie no longer is in 3PO. Cyndi Lauper is now playing the part of Jenny. Edie had to fulfill her commitment to the Sopranos.
Should be interesting to see Ms Lauper in this role.

The Joker~~Where did you read this? Just curious....I follow her career and haven't seen anything linking her to the movie. Also...she really wants to do a Broadway show...AND...interesting crowd at her concerts...she has die hard fans in their teens, 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's.
Amazing talent
