I'm guessing that they are going for Groff fans, not necessarily Bobby Darin fans? Darin had his big hits in 1959-1960 ish, his fans would be in their eighties+ now, which certainly limits the audience.

I had to look. As a graphic designer this is offensive ;) The amount of noise on that photo is horrific and easy to correct. Even an iphone can do better than this?

Agree. I also am inclined to think that Radcliffe makes this a more viable piece to be sold to an appletv or hbo.

I was so impressed with him in Uncut Gems, I think this is a really interesting choice. And not because I've heard any sort of gossip at all, but would love to see either Adam Driver or Edward Norton take this on.

I actually saw this as my aunt is a volunteer at Goodspeed and invited me. It was adorable, but not Broadway material. I could definitely see something like this at a place like New World Stages. And Tricia who is mentioned several times in this thread does a terrific Dolly.

In terms of Dolly's long career/story, I think the more interesting part is the early decades. She was a trailblazer for women in country music. Woman in a male dominated industry and all that.

Wasn't Kerry Butler also in this as Dolly? Is this going to be another Cher/Summer thing?
