A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum with Nathan Lane (1996) Dec 13

I saw it! It's hard to remember details, it was so long ago. But I do remember completely loving it. I was new to living in the city at the time and I think this was the first show I saw.
100% agree on this being ideal for Encores.

What's next for the St. James ? Dec 8

oldfriends said: "Byrne just announced late spring tour dates, so it seems his team gave up on trying to secure the St. James."
I think this was a pure rumor based on a rolling stone article that said he wanted to film the tour like American Utopia. I just looked at his instagram and it's another major leg to this tour so it must have been in the works for months.

I actually thought it was even worse than live. Maybe it was all the closeups?

Broadway's Best Kept Secrets 12/3 - Titanique? Fear of 13? Dec 3

theatergoer3 said: "The British board had said Fear would transfer - sounds very good so looking forward to that.
Curious to see how Titanique goes."
Titanique at the St James seems absolutely insane to me. I enjoyed the show downtown, but the St James is a huge house to fill. If true I'm guessing they will close the balcony?

Saw somewhere that there weekly nut is 1.3 million, which if true, these numbers are not good at all. That coupled with advance seems like it was the right call to close after the holidays.

Ouch. Is this still trying to come in this season or will they push like Dolly? This sounds like a mess.

That's a change. Martin Landry was originally covering the role for the week. Also makes me wonder if he'll rejoin the show when Jane comes in."
I can see him coming back for Hannah’s 2 weeks, but there will be a new Abe with Jane"
Anyone know who the knew Abe is with Jane?

Wasn't there a kerfuffle about this last year or the year before where the co-producers weren't allowed to go up to the stage at the Tonys and it was a big deal?

I also like this from their FAQ-
Even in the event of poor performance, Kowalski Coin retains value through its NFT component, which has collectible and artistic value. Additionally, the capped supply could still drive demand among fans and collectors.
