Yeah, the music befuddles me. All the press I've seen makes it sound like this is some famous band? I had never heard of them and just looked them up and they have 3400 followers on Instagram. Not that followers is an indicator of the quality of their music, I'll let what they've released for the show speak for itself, but it seems strange to keep hyping them as if they are a thing.

The direction they went for their cast announcement was much more fun and a great starting point for overall artwork related to the show. Neon and hot colors is a much better palette. Doing that then going back to a primary colors key art shows no overall theme for how they want to market the show.

I'm assuming that for any of these productions, aside from the actual piece being ready, they would need to have a good number of investors/co-producers in place? I would think it would be difficult to raise $$$ on such short notice?

The show's website shows Washington as Young Happy which is obviously not correct. Someone made a big proofreading error. Regardless, looking forward to seeing him on stage again. Loved him in Boys in the Band.

I'd add Girl from the North Country? While it wasn't hated here it definitely received a very tepid response. I have to say personally I loved it in London and hated it here with the exception of Mare Winningham. 

I saw it! It's hard to remember details, it was so long ago. But I do remember completely loving it. I was new to living in the city at the time and I think this was the first show I saw. 

100% agree on this being ideal for Encores.

I think this was a pure rumor based on a rolling stone article that said he wanted to film the tour like American Utopia. I just looked at his instagram and it's another major leg to this tour so it must have been in the works for months.

Titanique at the St James seems absolutely insane to me. I enjoyed the show downtown, but the St James is a huge house to fill. If true I'm guessing they will close the balcony?

His current tour is scheduled through mid-March, so not possible.

Saw somewhere that there weekly nut is 1.3 million, which if true, these numbers are not good at all. That coupled with advance seems like it was the right call to close after the holidays.

I loved both their Vanya and Well I'll Let you Go, so I'm curious to see what they are cooking up.
