Kind of surprised by the choice of Goold as director here.
Love the art.

So, Broadway producers are going down the list of most popular TV shows and their most beloved characters, and they finally have reached The Bear! I'm not complaining, I'll be there.

I remember seeing a Bernthal rumor last year. I’m down.
This has been in the works for almost 10 years, right?
I guess if the acting and production are really great I could get excited, but the film is pretty damn perfect.
Also curious about how much of a draw these two are...both are great actors, but I don't think this is the second coming of GLENGARRY, right? (despite Ebon having another season of The Bear and a Marvel movie coming out before then)

I still don't see the need for this. The movie is one of the most perfect pieces of cinema ever. I know they love this sort of classic-movie-to-straight-play thing in London but whenever it's done here, it bombs (Elling, A Time To Kill, Dead Poets Society, The Graduate). Why not revive The Petrified Forest or When Ya Comin' Back, Red Ryder?
If Bernthal does a nude scene, however, I'll be there.
I’m guessing one of them plays Sonny (based on the poster alone might be Bernthal) while the other will play either Sal or the Sargeant. Wonder who will play Leon Shermer? I hope they cast a Transgendered or gay actor. Any dream casting?

The times article says Bernthal is Sonny, which for me, seems perfect. I have to think that Moss-Bac will play Sal?

The BWW article I. The first post clearly states Bernthal is Sonny and Moss-Bachrach is Sal.

Got the same notice yesterday, it's now 45 minutes until the presale and still no code. Anybody receive it yet?
It’ll probably be sent at exactly 10am
And as soon as I said that I got the email lol. Code is SONNY

Do you have a link to the ticketing page? Frustratingly, I’m not getting the email.

I haven't bought a ticket almost half a year in advance ever since the Ragtime presale. Surprised by sensible prices and can't wait to see this play!

Didn’t need to enter a code. Simply linked from the email containing the code. Smooth process. Decent prices for what promises to be a thrilling production. All set for mid April. Can’t wait.
Still deciding whether to see Giant. Leaning slightly to “yes.”

Yeah, I wasn't planning on buying tickets today, but the prices were so reasonable i bit the bullet. Hopefully more shows are like this in the future.

I am still surprised by Glengarry Glen Ross' grosses earlier this year large, as I really did not expect that trio to sell so many tickets, especially in that large theatre at those prices. I have not considered purchasing tickets for this, because I expect discount tickets to become available before it opens or, failing that, for it to be a regular on TKTS. Are people on this board expecting those two to be big box office attractions?
I am thinking that, just a few years ago, Jessica Chastain -- Oscar in hand -- was regularly at TKTS in a smaller theatre. I don't get it.
